We ask our members to pay a yearly fee to be part of our club. This money helps fund our rock show, field trips, and other amazing things. In return, you get to hang out with other rock fans, access our rockhounding adventures, and participate in our events. 

Currently the best way to join is to stop by one of our monthly meetings. Just ask for a membership form when you come in! There are multiple membership types, including for individuals and families. 

Several times a year, we go on rockhounding adventures. Yes, you read that right. We go out into the wild and wrangle beautiful specimens for our own collections. Last year we found bubble opal, zebra stone, Picasso marble, sunstones, geodes, leaf fossils, and more! 

Traveling with the club not only means you have wonderful company while digging, but you have experienced rockhounds who can help you be more successful in your search. We're here to teach you how to be a better rockhound! 

Interested in finding a particular stone? Let us know! We love hearing ideas of what field trips we should arrange next. 

Every summer we have a club picnic, and every winter we have a club holiday party. If you think that sounds like a good time, you'd be right.
